Maine High School Softball - Hall-Dale bounces Maine Central Institute
May 6, 2024: Farmingdale, ME 04344 Hall-Dale Bulldogs (Farmingdale, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Valley for a Class C South challenge on Friday, May 10. Hall-Dale will face a Falcons squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Madison (Madison, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Maine Central Institute falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME) to face the Saints in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 7-1.
