May 6, 2024: Twin Valley, MN 56584 In Monday's non-league contest, the New York Mills Eagles (New York Mills, MN) softball team overwhelmed the host Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans (Twin Valley, MN), by a margin of 14-9.
With the triumph, New York Mills moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN) to play the Wolverines in a Park Region contest on Tuesday, May 7. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 10-2. Wadena-Deer Creek won 17-2 in their recent non-league test against Perham (Perham, MN)
The Titans (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Ada-Borup (Ada, MN). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Ada-Borup edged Rothsay (Rothsay, MN), 16-9, in a non-league test.
