May 6, 2024: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a Tomahawk challenge on Monday, May 6. Sleepy Eye will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Hayfield (Hayfield, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Redwood Valley falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to battle the Thunderhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7.
