May 6, 2025: Topeka, KS 66606 Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS), 13-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Hayden moves its record to 16-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS) to battle the Blues in a Centennial match on Friday, May 9. The Blues come into the match with a record of 10-6. Washburn Rural won 12-11 in their recent league match against Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS)
The Cyclones now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iola for a non-league match on Friday, May 9. Bishop Ward will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-6.
