In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting St. Joseph Central Irish baseball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Chesapeake Panthers.

The Irish (20-5) will now prepare for their game against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-15 record. In their last game, South Charleston was overwhelmed by Capital (Charleston, WV), 10-2, in a league game.

Next, the Panthers play the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 7. Chesapeake will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Rebels go into the game with a 5-10 record after their 4-0 league loss to Western (Latham, OH).
