The Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) baseball got by the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Muncie Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. Cowan will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-13.

With the defeat, Winchester Community drops to 8-3 on the year. The Golden falcons host Centerville (Centerville, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Tri-Eastern challenge on Wednesday, May 7.
