Missouri High School Baseball - Doniphan nips East Carter
May 6, 2025: Ellsinore, MO 63937 In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Doniphan Dons baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the East Carter Redbirds.
The Dons (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Kennett (Kennett, MO). The Indians go into the Class 4 District 1 game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Kennett was tipped by Kelly (Benton, MO), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Redbirds play the Greenville Bears (Greenville, MO) in a Class 2 District 2 game, on Thursday, May 8. East Carter will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 15-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Puxico (Puxico, MO).
