Kentucky High School Baseball - Nicholas County defeats Robertson County
May 6, 2025: Mt. Olivet, KY 41064 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the host Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY), saw Nicholas County's baseball team gain a win over Robertson County by a tally of 7-0.
The Bluejackets (7-19) will now prepare for their battle against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Bracken County was overwhelmed by Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 16-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Black Devils face the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 9. Robertson County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Greyhounds enter the battle with a 17-14 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).
