The Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) baseball the host Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 6-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 17-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Watauga will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 24-2.

With the defeat, Ragsdale drops to 18-8 on the year.
