May 6, 2025: Centerville, IA 52544 Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Winfield-Mt. Union moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Wapello (Wapello, IA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-13. Wapello lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA)
The Big Reds/Redettes now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Knoxville for a South Central test on Thursday, May 8. Centerville will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-14.
