New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Cherokee drops to Hopewell Valley Central
May 6, 2025: Pennington, NJ 08534 Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) followers were content Tuesday as they observed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), 19-8 in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington Township for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. Hopewell Valley Central will face a Minutemen squad coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Cherokee falls to 4-6 on the year. The Chiefs host Lenape (Medford, NJ) to face the Indians in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 4-7. Lenape lost 4-3 in their recent non-league outing against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ)
