May 6, 2025: Norwich, CT 06360 The Ledyard Colonels lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats to 5 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Colonels now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge on Thursday, May 8. Ledyard will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Norwich Free Academy falls to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to clash with the Centaurs in a Eastern Connecticut - Large challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Centaurs go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Woodstock Academy lost 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT)
