East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), 17-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, East Wilkes improves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Rams enter the game with a record of 14-6. Highland Tech won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC)
