In Tuesday's league test, the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) softball squad got by the visiting Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Pointers meet the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) in a SWAL test, on Thursday, May 8. Mineral Point will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-10 record after their 11-1 league win over Riverdale (Muscoda, WI).

The Cubans (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Panthers go into the SWAL test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Iowa-Grant held off Riverdale (Muscoda, WI), 13-3, in a league test.
