Pennsylvania High School Softball - Elk County Catholic bounces Smethport
May 6, 2025: St. Marys, PA 15857 The Elk County Catholic Crusaders softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Smethport Hubbers to 2 in the Crusaders non-league win on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brockway for a Mountain - Southern battle on Wednesday, May 7. Elk County Catholic will confront a Rovers team coming off a 15-0 league win over Kane (Kane, PA). The Rovers record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Smethport moves to 0-4 on the season. The Hubbers travel to Galeton (Galeton, PA) to confront the Tigers in a North Tier battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-6. Galeton lost 1-0 in their recent league battle against Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA)
