May 7, 2021: Ona, WV 25545 In Friday's non-league game, the host Cabell Midland Knights baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Blazer Tomcats.
The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their game against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots go into the Mountain State game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, George Washington was edged by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 17-3, in a non-league game.
The Tomcats (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 12-9 record. In their last game, Hazard tipped Knox Central (Barbourville, KY), 11-2, in a non-league game.
