The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins nipped the host Center Grove Trojans softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Bruins (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Danville (Danville, IN). The Warriors go into the Sagamore battle with a 18-0 record. In their last battle, Danville held off Cascade (Clayton, IN), 16-4, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Carmel for a Metropolitan battle on Tuesday, May 11.
