The Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Tornadoes (Niantic, IL) softball routed the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 19-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tornadoes (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Edinburg/South Fork (Kincaid, IL). The Wildcats go into the MSM bout with a 0-0 record.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary/Lutheran for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 8.
