In Saturday's league contest, the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Riverton Parke moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Panthers host Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN) to play the Wolves in a Wabash River contest on Tuesday, May 10. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 6-10. Parke Heritage lost 5-2 in their recent league contest against Seeger (West Lebanon, IN)

In their next game, the Trojans play the West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 9. Covington will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record.
