May 7, 2024: Marion, VA 24354 The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado to 2 in the Scarlet Hurricanes league victory on Tuesday.
The Scarlet Hurricanes (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Bearcats go into the Southwest match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Virginia High edged Graham (Bluefield, VA), 11-0, in a league match.
The Blue Tornado (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Pioneers go into the Southwest match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Lebanon edged Tazewell (Tazewell, VA), 14-7, in a league match.
