The Sun Valley Spartans soccer team (Monroe, NC), 4-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC)

With the win, Weddington advances its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Carolina 4A outing on Thursday, May 9. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 10-6. Cuthbertson won 4-3 in their recent league outing against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
