The Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), 8-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Cougars host Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, May 10.
