In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a margin of 6-0.

With the triumph, Triton moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Hawks host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Colts in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 9. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 17-5. Cape Fear won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against West Johnston (Benson, NC)
