May 7, 2025: Spencer, MA 01562 The Burncoat Patriots baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Prouty Panthers to 2 in the Patriots non-league win on Wednesday.
The Patriots now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keefe Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Burncoat will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 9-8 league win over Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA). The Broncos record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Prouty drops to 3-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a South Worcester County - Central test on Thursday, May 8. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 10-4. Tantasqua Regional lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA)
