Maine High School Baseball - George Stevens Academy nips Central
May 7, 2025: Blue Hill, ME 04614 In Wednesday's league game, the host George Stevens Academy Eagles baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Central Red Devils.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx go into the Class C North game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Mattanawcook nudged Orono (Orono, ME), 9-3, in a league game.
Next, the Red Devils play the Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 9. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 5-0 record after their 17-1 league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME).
