Illinois High School Baseball - Lincoln-Way Central nips Homewood-Flossmoor
May 7, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 In Wednesday's league game, the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings.
The Knights (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts go into the Southwest Suburban game with a 16-7 record. In their last game, Andrew was tipped by Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 4-1, in a league game.
Next, the Vikings play the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a Southwest Suburban game, on Friday, May 9. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 15-8 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL).
