May 7, 2025: Steubenville, OH 43952 The John Marshall Monarchs baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Steubenville Big Red to 2 in the Monarchs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Monarchs now own a 12-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkersburg South for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. John Marshall will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 15-11.
With the defeat, Steubenville drops to 8-10 on the year. The Big red host Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 15-3. Indian Creek won 4-0 in their recent league test against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH)
