Illinois High School Baseball - Tuscola loses to Monticello
May 7, 2025: Tuscola, IL 61953 Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL), 9-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Monticello advances its record to 22-4 on the season. The Sages travel to Rantoul (Rantoul, IL) to face the Eagles in a Illini Prairie battle on Thursday, May 8. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 12-10. Rantoul won 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)
Next, the Warriors face the Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL) in a Central Illinois battle, on Thursday, May 8. Tuscola will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 3-18 record after their 10-9 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, IL).
