May 7, 2025: Pittsfield, IL 62363

The Pittsfield Saukees baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Routt Catholic Rockets to 10 in the Saukees non-league win on Wednesday.

The Saukees now own a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seymour for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Pittsfield will clash with a Indians team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL). The Indians record now stands at 9-11.

With the defeat, Routt Catholic drops to 15-9 on the year. The Rockets host Liberty (Liberty, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 10-9. Liberty lost 15-4 in their recent non-league test against New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL)
