In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Middletown Middies volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Carroll Patriots.

The Middies (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Chillicothe beat Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
