In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Lakes Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Grant Community Bulldogs.

The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Vernon Hills was nipped by Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 5-4, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Wednesday, May 14. Grant Community will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record.
