In Wednesday's league match, the host Ashland Clockers softball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Millis Mohawks.

The Clockers (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Westwood (Westwood, MA). The Wolverines go into the Tri-Valley match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Westwood tipped Medfield (Medfield, MA), 6-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mohawks battle the Norton Lancers (Norton, MA) in a Tri-Valley match, on Friday, May 9. Millis will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Lancers go into the match with a 13-1 record after their 23-3 league win over Holliston (Holliston, MA).
