Ohio High School Softball - Briggs bounces South
May 7, 2025: Columbus, OH 43206 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) and the host South Bulldogs (Columbus, OH), observed Briggs's softball team notch a victory over South by a final score of 23-1.
The Bruins (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 3-17 record. In their last bout, Franklin Heights was routed by Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH), 18-8, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Linden-McKinley Panthers (Columbus, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. South will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 22-1 league loss to Northland (Columbus, OH).
