The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Homer Trojans (Homer, MI) and the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), observed Homer's softball team get by Columbia Central by a tally of 9-2.

The Trojans (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Decatur (Decatur, MI). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 12-8 record.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Hudson Tigers (Hudson, MI) in a Lenawee County bout, on Friday, May 9. Columbia Central will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record.
