In Wednesday's non-league test, the Evansville Central Bears (Evansville, IN) softball squad triumphed over the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN), by a count of 12-1.

Next, the Bears play the Evansville North Huskies (Evansville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Evansville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL).

The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen enter the Pocket challenge with a 4-6 record.
