The Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) softball the visiting Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH), 4-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Cadets now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blissfield for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. Hilltop will encounter a Royals team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Madison (Adrian, MI). The Royals record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Pettisville moves to 11-6 on the season. The Blackbirds host Montpelier (Montpelier, OH) to encounter the Locomotives in a Buckeye Border outing on Thursday, May 8. The Locomotives come into the outing with a record of 13-5. Montpelier won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Bryan (Bryan, OH)
