Washington High School Softball - Sultan drops to Meridian
May 7, 2025: Sultan, WA 98294 The Sultan Turks softball squad (Sultan, WA), was routed 18-7 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA)
With the triumph, Meridian improves its record to 4-16 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to face the Cougars in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Thursday, May 8. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 7-10. Lakewood won 17-5 in their recent league contest against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
The Turks now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Darrington for a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. Sultan will face a Loggers squad coming off a 24-2 non-league win over Concrete (Concrete, WA). The Loggers record now stands at 12-4.
