Connecticut High School Softball - Plainville bounces New Britain
May 7, 2025: Plainville, CT 06062 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) and the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), observed Plainville's softball team prevail over New Britain by a tally of 12-0.
The Blue Devils (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers go into the bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Rocky Hill knocked off Middletown (Middletown, CT), 13-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Golden Hurricanes battle the Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. New Britain will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 10-6 league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
