Indiana High School Softball - Roncalli held off by New Palestine

In Wednesday's non-league test, the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) softball squad got by the visiting Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN), by a tally of 4-3.

Next, the Dragons clash with the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage test, on Thursday, May 8. New Palestine will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 14-1 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN).

The Royals (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Westfield (Westfield, IN). The Shamrocks go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Westfield was nudged by Zionsville (Zionsville, IN), 5-0, in a league test.
