With the triumph, Valley View improves its record to 18-8 on the year.

The Lions now hold a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. Searcy will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Arkansas (Texarkana, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 19-6.
