Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tamaqua upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Blue Raiders travel to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA) to battle the Crimson Tide in a Schuylkill County 1 test on Monday, May 10. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a record of 7-9. Pottsville lost 9-2 in their recent league test against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA)

With the defeat, Mount Carmel falls to 6-8 on the season. The Red tornadoes travel to Montgomery (Montgomery, PA) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, May 10. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 6-5. Montgomery lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Muncy (Muncy, PA)
