The Bingham Miners softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Murray Spartans to 4 in the Miners non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Bingham moves its record to 19-2 on the year. The Miners travel to Hunter (West Valley City, UT) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 11. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 10-14. Hunter lost 16-9 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the East Leopards (Salt Lake City, UT) in a 5A Region 6 game, on Tuesday, May 11. Murray will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record. The Leopards come into the game with a 12-4 record after their 19-3 league win over Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT).
