May 8, 2021: Marengo, IL 60152 The Joliet West Tigers the host Marengo Indians softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes go into the Suburban Prairie - South battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Yorkville was routed by Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Indians now sport a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Johnsburg for a Kishwaukee River battle on Monday, May 10. Marengo will meet a Skyhawks squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 9-2.
