Virginia High School Baseball - Granby gets by Atlantic Shores Christian
May 8, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23320 Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Granby upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to battle the Truckers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Truckers enter the battle with a record of 11-4. Churchland won 15-5 in their recent league battle against Norview (Norfolk, VA)
The Seahawks now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broadwater Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 11. Atlantic Shores Christian will play a Vikings squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-11.
