In Monday's non-league challenge, the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting More Knights (San Jose, CA), by a final score of 6-0.

With the win, Evergreen Valley upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Santa Teresa challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Prospect won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Gunderson (San Jose, CA)

With the defeat, More falls to 17-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11.
