Ohio High School Baseball - Fairbanks gets by Northeastern
May 8, 2023: Springfield, OH 45502 Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), 4-2 in a league test.
With the win, Fairbanks upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Panthers host Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to battle the Cardinals in a Ohio Heritage North test on Tuesday, May 9. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 3-15. Triad lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)
With the defeat, Northeastern falls to 8-10 on the season. The Jets host Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 8-7. Dixie lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Brookville (Brookville, OH)
