New York High School Softball - Rondout Valley nudges New Paltz
May 8, 2023: Accord, NY 12404 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) and the visiting New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY), saw Rondout Valley's softball squad nip New Paltz by a count of 7-6.
The Ganders now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wallkill for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 9. Rondout Valley will face a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, New Paltz falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Huguenots travel to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, May 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-4. Wallkill won 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY)
