May 8, 2023: Philadelphia, PA 19148 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls (Philadelphia, PA) and the host Neumann-Goretti Saints (Philadelphia, PA), witnessed Archbishop Ryan's softball squad prevail over Neumann-Goretti by a count of 16-0.
The Raiders and Ragdolls now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lansdale Catholic for a Philadelphia Catholic match on Tuesday, May 9. Archbishop Ryan will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-8 non-league loss to Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Neumann-Goretti moves to 1-4 on the season. The Saints host Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA) to face the Vikings in a Philadelphia Catholic match on Tuesday, May 9. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 11-6. Archbishop Wood lost 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA)
