Maine High School Softball - Central Aroostook bounces Fort Kent
May 8, 2023: Mars Hill, ME 04758 Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hodgdon for a Class D North challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Central Aroostook will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 36-2 league win over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Fort Kent falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
