Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grove City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Conneaut Area will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Cochranton falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Iroquois (Erie, PA) to battle the Braves in a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Monday, May 15. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 5-6.
